Where we operate

We provide advice and representation in courts and arbitrations in the UK and abroad, in tribunals and enquiries, in licensing and other statutory hearings and in disciplinary and other private proceedings.

Members of 4 Pump Court play a role in numerous key appellate decisions in the Court of Appeal and the House of Lords.

We are involved in financial regulatory bodies as advocates and in a quasi-judicial capacity. Most members of Chambers are trained mediators and many sit as arbitrators, legal assessors, conciliators and adjudicators.

Our QCs serve as deputy judges of the High Court, including the Technology and Construction Court, and as recorders.

Our junior tenants carry out a great deal of court work during their first few years in a wide range of cases instructed by in-house legal teams as well as by solicitors in private practice. As a result they gain a solid grounding in advocacy in their early years with plenty of experience of having to argue and think on their feet.
