Her Majesty The Queen, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor following consideration by the independent King’s Counsel Selection Panel, has announced the results of the King’s Counsel appointments today.
4 Pump Court are delighted to announce that Alexander Wright will be appointed as King’s Counsel in 2022.
Alexander is an experienced commercial Barrister and has a broad commercial dispute resolution practice across the breadth of Chambers, with an exceptional reputation across a number of fields. He is regularly instructed in the High Court (particularly the Commercial Court) and domestic and international arbitrations.
He is consistently ranked in the legal directories. Alexander is listed as a leading Shipping / Shipping and Commodities, International Trade, Commercial Dispute Resolution / Commercial Litigation, Energy, and International Arbitration, in one or more of Chambers and Partners UK Bar, Chambers Global, The Legal 500 UK, The Legal 500 Asia Pacific and Who’s Who Legal UK Bar.
In 2020 Alexander won “Shipping Junior of the Year” at the Legal 500 Awards, having been nominated for the same award in 2019. He has previously been listed as one of Legal Week’s 10 “Stars at the Bar” and has twice been nominated as “Shipping Junior of the Year” at the Chambers UK Bar Awards.
