Richard is developing a broad commercial practice across Chambers’ areas of practice, and accepts instructions in all areas of work.

Richard graduated with a first-class degree in Law from Cambridge in 2015 and a distinction in legal and constitutional studies from the University of St Andrews in 2018. Before coming to the Bar, Richard worked as a paralegal in the public and private sectors, including spending two years in the compliance department of a leading litigation funder.

Advised on proper interpretation of a contract for the purchase of construction goods, a rebate agreement over those purchases, and on the applicability of competition law to the dispute.

Assisted on advising on title over commercial land in the Caribbean.

Assisted in drafting costs submissions at the International Chamber of Commerce.
