4 Pump Court is delighted to announce that Lord Garnier KC has joined 4 Pump Court from One Brick Court with effect from 1st May 2019. Edward has a broad commercial practice spanning defamation and privacy, malicious falsehood, contempt and related media law cases, corporate crime and international human rights. Edward has had an equally successful parallel career in politics serving as an MP from 1992 until 2017 and as Solicitor General from 2010 to 2012. We hope that Edward will be an excellent addition to Chambers’ commercial offering.
We are also thrilled to announce that Jennie Gillies will be returning to 4 Pump Court following her time at Arup, where she held the position of Head of Dispute Resolution. Jennie’s practice focuses on construction and engineering, professional negligence and commercial and insurance dispute resolution work.
