Our most recent tenant, Jonathan Schaffer-Goddard, recently took part in one of a series of events run by IntoUniversity, an award-winning educational charity. The aim of the charity is to help get children from disadvantaged backgrounds into university. In 2017, 74% of IntoUniversity students progressed to university compared with 38% of all students nationally.
The event was run in coordination with students from the King’s College London Legal Outreach Project which is part of the KCL Pro Bono Society.
Jonathan spoke to a class of 30 students aged 12 – 13 about what a barrister is and how he ended up becoming one. This was followed by a lively and indepth round of questions from the students who were extemely interested in the work that Jonathan does.
