His Majesty the King, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor following consideration by the independent King’s Counsel Selection Panel, has announced the results of the King’s Counsel appointments.
Jennie Gillies will be appointed as King’s Counsel at a ceremony later this year.
Jennie is a very highly regarded commercial barrister specialising in the areas of construction, engineering, energy and professional negligence.
Recent comments in the directories describe Jennie as “personable, incredibly intelligent and brilliant on her feet in hearings” and “an excellent barrister to work with”.
