Neil Henderson will be speaking at the London Shipping Law Centre, Maritime Business Forum.
The seminar titled The Interaction Between Shipping and Insolvency will cover the following issues:
- the effect of a foreign insolvency upon English law contracts
- obtaining permission to bring court / arbitration proceedings against an insolvent company
- maritime liens and insolvence
- Cross-border insolvency: Especially the relationship between maritime liens and in rem claims
- The Sanko Mineral case
- US Interpleader actions
Neil will be speaking alongside panellists Elizabeth McGovern, Reed Smith and Tony Beswetherick, 20 Essex.
