Summary:
4 Pump Court are hosting a Society for Computers and Law virtual event on ‘Making a Career of IT. Quentin Tannock of 4 Pump Court will chair the panel session. The panel, which is drawn from litigation funding, in-house and traditional solicitor roles, will consist of Shayhan Patelmaster (Google), Mike Cumming-Bruce (Bench Walk Advisors), Anna Hoffman (4 Pump Court), Mark Rankin (Markel Law) and Vijay Rathour (Grant Thornton).

Topics of discussion will include insights on starting or developing a career in IT law; an update on the state of the market and trends; and career development tips from peers. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions at the end of the session.

Speakers will each take around 15 minutes to briefly introduce themselves and their roles, talk to how they work with lawyers and other professionals, discuss client development challenges and tips and provide their take on trends and likely future developments in the market.

We will then (after a short break), open the floor to questions on a Chatham House rules basis.
