4 Pump Court will be taking part in the 2018 International Maritime Arbitration Practical Symposium in Qingdao, China, which aims to help better equip Chinese enterprises for disputes in international arbitration. The three day event will focus particularly on the Belt & Road initiative.

The Symposium will host a range of guests from China and overseas including judges, maritime lawyers, insurance firms and shipyards amongst others. Andrew Stevens of 4 Pump Court will act as counsel in a mock charter party dispute as part of a mock London arbitration under the LMAA Terms on the third day of the Symposium.

Supporting bodies include the London Maritime Arbitrators Association, Singapore Chamber of Maritime Arbitration, CMAC Hong Kong Arbitration Center, CMAC Shanghai Sub-Commission, Rajah & Tann Singapore LLP, Reed Smith Richards Butler, Wang Jing & Co., Wintell & Co & HiHonor.
