Jacob Haddad has experience in a broad range of commercial disputes including both litigation and arbitration, and he accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work. He has a particular interest in shipping, IT & technology and construction.
Before coming to the Bar, Jacob studied English at the University of Cambridge, achieving a Double First and coming 1st in his cohort in his Part I examinations and 8th in his cohort at Part II. He subsequently spent a year studying at Harvard University as a Herchel Smith Fellow. He won multiple academic prizes for his performance at City Law School, including the Everard Ver Heyden Foundation prize for ranking 6th on the Bar Course.
During his pupillage, Jacob was supervised by Matthew Lavy KC, Thomas Crangle and Alexander Wright KC.

Jacob has been instructed in and assisted as a pupil with several complex, high value construction disputes.
Jacob has been instructed as sole counsel in numerous trials and contested applications in the County Court, including in relation to RTA, credit hire, PPI and breach of contract matters.
