We have particular expertise in professional liability insurance, including D&O, insurance of financial institutions, cyber, construction and energy-related insurance, reinsurance and professional negligence disputes – principally brokers’ negligence.
We act both for insured parties and for insurers and reinsurers within the UK market, including Lloyd’s and the company market. The depth of our international experience means that we are well placed to advise on complex multi-jurisdictional insurance disputes. Much of our advocacy work is in the Commercial Court in London, but members of Chambers also represent clients in arbitration in the UK in relation to major international insurance disputes.
Members of our Insurance & Reinsurance team have been involved in high-profile cases that have significantly impacted both the London and international markets over the last 30 years.
