Andrew Stevens will be speaking at the Great Britain China Centre conference, Advancing the Rule of Law in China: Issues & Opportunities. The conference will be chaired by Sir Martin Davidson the Chairman of Great Britain China Centre, with the panel discussing the following key points:

  • Understanding Chinese Perspectives on the Rule of Law – A discussion led by academic experts on the state of China’s legal system and prospects for reform.
  • Building Partnerships to Advance the Rule of Law – Models of cooperation globally, what works best in China and how should the UK engage.
  • Reducing Legal Uncertainty for Business – Discussion on the legal environment for Chinese and UK businesses and how to improve transparency and access to fair and impartial justice and dispute resolution.

The conference will take place at the Institute of Directors, 116 Pall Mall, St James’s, London SW1Y 5ED. Registration from 2.00pm.
