His Majesty the King, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor following consideration by the independent King’s Counsel Selection Panel, has announced the results of the King’s Counsel appointments today.
Sanjay Patel will be appointed as King’s Counsel at a ceremony later this year.
Sanjay is one of the most sought-after commercial barristers at the Bar particularly in the areas of energy, construction and international arbitration. He is currently shortlisted at The Legal 500 EMEA Awards, the ceremony of which will take place in February in Dubai.
In addition, Sanjay stands out in the directories as being “one of the most user-friendly, commercially minded and legally astute barristers on the market” and was described as a ‘future leader’ by Who’s Who Legal.
