Negotiating and Litigation of Technology Contracts: Some common challenges
Alexander Charlton KC and Matthew Lavy will be speaking at the Society for Computers & Law on the 14 October. They will join fellow panellists Rajesh Sreenivasan (Rajah & Tann) and Jonathan Choo (Bird & Bird) and will explore some of the challenges that arise when negotiating terms for technology and telecoms projects and how agreed terms measure up when the project goes wrong and litigation ensues.
Subjects covered by the panellists will include:
- Exclusion & Limitation clauses
- Termination & Exit plan
- UAT & Bench marking
- Change control
- Payment structures for cloud computing
- Claims for reimbursement of charges paid
The seminar will be chaired by The Honourable Justice Vivian Ramsey (International Judge of the SICC) who will provide judicial insights into the anatomy of technology disputes.
The seminar will be held at Rajah and Tann Singapore LLP, 9 Battery Road, 25-01 Straits Trading Building, Singapore with registration from 4.30pm.
