The Cayman Islands Court of Appeal has recently refused an application for permission to appeal to the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council in the case of Kattina Anglin v The Governor of the Cayman Islands and Colours Caribbean, CICA Civil Appeal No. 6 of 2022.

The Cayman Islands Court of Appeal accepted the submissions of Colours Caribbean, represented by Alex Potts KC, that the proposed appeal did not raise an arguable point of law of great general or public importance.

A copy of the judgment is available below. The case has also been covered by the Cayman Islands Compass, see here.
