IBA Conference Paris 2023

Alex Potts KC, Laurence Page and Rebecca Keating will be attending the IBA Conference in Paris between 29 October- Friday 3 November.

Alex Potts KC will be moderating a panel session ‘Arbitration and mediation in insolvency – a sword and a shield for the officeholder’ on Tuesday 31 October. The panel will consider this topic from two distinct perspectives; firstly, what is the impact of a supervening insolvency upon stakeholders’ existing rights to arbitrate their disputed claims? Secondly, how can the officeholder use alternative dispute resolution procedures in order to accelerate the adjudication of creditor claims and the collection of debtor balances in the insolvent estate?
